The new glass entrance pyramid marks the intersection of the podium axes of this monolithic 1968 campus designed by Edward Durrell Stone. It brings light into the lower level and provides sheltered access to the classrooms below.
Original precast concrete structural vaults are exposed and used as reflectors for new lighting. Building circulation is re-organized as a simple loop, with perimeter offices and interior support spaces. New glazed walls and clerestories bring light into all corridors, interior graduate student offices, and support spaces.
