Open loft floors provide a range of innovative collaborative environments for research institutes, shared university classrooms, and a conference center.

Ground floor instructional spaces open off a lounge and study space which is also be used for receptions and conferences. Upper floors are home to research institutes with varying needs. The floors are designed around a common infrastructure with varying workspace groupings, to maintain flexibility for future change. The basic kit of parts includes flexible open work space, small hoteling offices, and a range of workshop and classroom spaces. Glass-enclosed offices provide privacy and interaction. Open student gathering spaces and shared worktables for coding pairs and research groups of varying sizes are also included. The spaces can be easily reconfigured for large meetings and events.
