KHA Announces Appointment of New Associates

Kliment Halsband Architects is pleased to announce that Caitlin Watson AIA and Nicholas Wan AIA have been promoted to Associate.

Caitlin Watson AIA has distinguished herself as an exceptional designer and manager of diverse projects, from the renovation and expansion of a contemporary Catholic church on Staten Island to the adaptive reuse of a historic Manhattan loft building into academic office and instructional space. She brings her expertise with 3D modeling software to the design process, including her acumen with translating sketches and schematic drawings into photorealistic renderings. Caitlin also continues to pursue her scholarly research about the intersection of art and architecture in sacred space, which she has presented at conferences and has been published in Faith & Form Journal. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Architecture from McGill University.

Nicholas A. Wan AIA has been a critical team member for the design and management of complex projects for both public and private K-12 schools in New York City, including an addition to a historic elementary school and the redevelopment of a small urban campus in a historic district. He brings his significant design ability and technical expertise with 3D and 2D software to the realization of every project. Nick holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University Tyler School of Art, where he was the winner of the Faculty Thesis Award and a finalist for Alumni Thesis Award and DaVinci Thesis Prize.
