KHA Announces 2020 Promotions!

KHA is proud to announce the promotion of Adam Richards AIA, Bradley Sherburne AIA, and K.C. Underwood AIA, LEED AP as our newest Associates. Congratulations and thank you for your contributions to the profession and hard work!

Adam Richards AIA is recognized for his exceptional design and management skills. Adam joined KHA in 2014 and is a successful Project Architect and Project Manager bringing exceptional quality to every phase of a project. His strong interests in sustainability and graphic representation methods also bring widespread support to our team. Most recently he has served as the Project Architect for the renovation and addition of Orange New Jersey High School. Adam received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee.

Bradley Sherburne AIA is a critical team member in creating spaces for innovation, education, and urban life. Bradley fosters team interaction while contributing innovative designs. Bradley joined KHA in 2014 and is a Project Architect and Project Manager on several school renovation projects. Bradley received a Master of Urban Design from Carnegie Mellon University and is an active member of the AIANY Planning and Urban Design Committee.

K.C. Underwood AIA, LEED AP has embraced collaborative practice models and has led teams to successfully complete over 4 million square feet of educational projects. His expertise encompasses all educational levels, challenging renovation projects and new construction, including a Net Zero middle school and numerous LEED Certified projects. K.C. is responsible for coordinating the firm’s project planning and staffing, as well as being a technical resource for the staff. He has served as President of AIA North Carolina Eastern Section and on the Board of Directors of AIA North Carolina. K.C. received a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
